Welcome to Glance! By using our website or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Glance.

1. About Glance

Glance is a calendar app that connects with your Google Calendar to help you view your events in flexible, long-term layouts. We’re actively developing and improving the service based on user feedback.

2. Using Glance

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Glance.
  • You agree to use Glance only for lawful purposes.
  • You must not attempt to interfere with our systems, reverse-engineer the app, or disrupt service to others.
  • You may not copy, sell, or redistribute Glance or its features without permission.

3. Your Account

  • To use Glance, you’ll need to create an account and connect it to your Google Calendar.
  • You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
  • You are also responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time through your user settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Glance integrates with Google Calendar. We may also use other third-party services to provide and operate Glance. Use of any third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policies. We’re not responsible for how those services handle your data.

5. Your Data

By using Glance, you authorize us to access, display and edit information from your Google Calendar, including your events. This access is based on the permissions you grant to Glance. We also collect basic personal data like your name and email to provide our service. For more details, see our privacy policy.

6. Service changes and availability

We may add, modify, or discontinue features or other parts of Glance as we develop and improve the service, subject to applicable law and any contractual rights you may have. Where required by law, we will provide notice of changes and information about any applicable rights. We may also temporarily suspend or limit access to Glance for maintenance, updates, security, technical issues, or other reasons. We do not guarantee that Glance or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary or permanent unavailability, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may provide updates to Glance from time to time, including updates that are necessary for security, functionality, or compatibility.

7. Intellectual property

Glance, including its design, branding, code, and features, is owned by us (Glance Studio, getglance.io, Sole proprietor Pau Guillamon). You may not reuse or reproduce any part of the product without written permission.

8. Payments and Subscriptions (coming soon)

Glance offers both free and paid plans. The features, prices, billing intervals, and other details of our current plans are listed on our Pricing page (link coming soon) and presented to you before any payment is required.

If you purchase a paid plan that renews automatically, your subscription will renew for the applicable billing period unless you cancel it before the next renewal. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. You can cancel your subscription using the cancellation options provided through your Glance account or the applicable subscription management interface. If a payment cannot be processed, we may suspend or restrict access to the applicable paid features until payment is successfully completed.

If Glance offers a Lifetime plan, “Lifetime” means access to the applicable paid features for as long as the Glance service continues to operate. A Lifetime plan does not guarantee that Glance will operate indefinitely or that the service will remain available permanently. If we permanently discontinue Glance, access to the service and Lifetime benefits will end.

From time to time, Glance may offer promotional or launch pricing for eligible customers. Where we state that a price is “locked in,” that price will remain fixed for as long as you maintain the applicable subscription and do not change your plan or end your subscription. If you cancel your subscription and later subscribe again, the then-current price will apply unless we expressly state otherwise. In exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control that materially affect the cost or legality of providing Glance, we may need to change or withdraw a locked-in price. If this happens, we will provide reasonable notice and comply with any applicable statutory rights and requirements.

If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract concluded online within the applicable withdrawal period. The conditions and consequences of withdrawal depend on the type of contract and applicable law. Withdrawal is separate from cancellation of a subscription. Where required by law, we will provide the applicable withdrawal instructions and information about how to exercise this right.

Your statutory consumer rights, including any applicable rights relating to cancellation, withdrawal, refunds, or digital services, are not affected by these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glance is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss resulting from service interruptions, data loss, or inability to access the service, even if we were advised such damages could happen. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in the country where you live provide otherwise.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make major changes, we’ll do our best to notify you via the app or email. The latest version will always be posted here. Changes to pricing or available plans will be communicated through our Pricing page and, where applicable, before you make a purchase. Any changes affecting existing subscriptions will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
