Welcome to Glance! By using our website or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Glance.

1. About Glance

Glance is a calendar web app that connects with your Google Calendar to help you view your events in flexible, long-term layouts. We’re currently in beta, which means we’re actively developing features and improving based on user feedback.

2. Using Glance

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Glance.
  • You agree to use Glance only for lawful purposes.
  • You must not attempt to interfere with our systems, reverse-engineer the app, or disrupt service to others.
  • You may not copy, sell, or redistribute Glance or its features without permission.

3. Your Account

  • To use Glance, you’ll need to create an account and connect it to your Google Calendar.
  • You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
  • You are also responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time through your user settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Glance integrates with Google Calendar. Please note that use of any third-party service (like Google) is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We’re not responsible for how those services handle your data.

5. Your Data

By using Glance, you authorize us to access, display and edit information from your Google Calendar, including your events. We also collect basic personal data like your name and email to provide our service. For more details, see our privacy policy.

6. Beta Services

Glance is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed as we improve the product. We make no guarantees about functionality, performance, or availability during this phase.

7. Availability and Changes

We may add, modify, or discontinue parts of Glance at any time. We may also suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary or permanent unavailability.

8. Intellectual Property

Glance, including its design, branding, code, and features, is owned by us (GetGlance.io, cofounders Pau Guillamon and Jessica Harding). You may not reuse or reproduce any part of the product without written permission.

9. Payments and Future Plans

Glance is currently free to use. In the future, we may introduce paid features or plans. If we do, we’ll provide clear terms and options before any payment is required.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glance is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app – even if we were advised such damages could happen.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. If there’s any legal dispute, it will be handled in an EU jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make major changes, we’ll do our best to notify you via the app or email. The latest version will always be posted here.
